Globalive Wireless
From Network Fine Print
globalWireless is the new entrant into the Canadian cellular industry and promises to make some waves judging by the preliminary information that has been released thus far.
An alleged former marketing employee from globalWireless leaked all of the following information in a Howards Forum post composed of screenshots of an internal meeting. This has been officially denied by GlobalLive CEO Tony Lacavera but the thread has remained up and the alleged former marketing employee continues to respond to questions.[1] The current theory is that this is either a viral marketing campaign or a way of testing the market for their service.

- No extra fees
- Good international calling rates

Restrictions
Despite being a GSM network, globalWireless will not allow foreign hardware on their network. This includes current versions of the iPhone. This is because the frequencies that it will be using will not be the same as the Rogers/Fido frequencies, so if a Rogers/Fido phone would not function on their network even if it was allowed.
